Silicone Scar gel (Non-Sterile)

SavDerm Silicone Scar Gel is a quick-drying silicone gel for external application. It is applied on the scars caused by surgery, burn, scrapers, lacerations and the type of keloids and hypertrophic scars. The gel type of silicone has the property of high ductility and is applicable to irregular area of the skin or active children. Spreading the gel over the skin, it will dry quickly and form a breathable, transparent and waterproof layer to prevent from chemical, physical and microbial invasion. Silicone Scar Gel has the function of scar improvement due to its hydration to the scar, and hydration affords better organization of the collagen during the healing stage. It can flatten, soften and smooth scars, relieve the itching and reduce the discoloration associated with scars.

    Intended Use

    • Used to treat closed cell hyperplasia (hypertrophic or keloid) scars.

    Directions for use

    1. Clean the scar area with mild soap or water then pat it until dry.
    2. Squeeze proper amount of gel and gently pat the gel over scar area.
    3. Spread the gel over the scar toward the same direction.
    4. After making sure the dryness of silicone gel, you may make up or get dressed as usual.


    Specification

    • SavDerm Silicone Scar Gel is available in tubes of 8g and 15g.

    Precaution

    • Avoid direct contact with open wound, eyes and mucous membranes.

    • Do not use the gel with antibiotics or other therapeutic skin reagent at same time.

    • Only apply on the clean and dry skin.

    • Irritation and rash seldom occur. Discontinue use and consult the physician if any discomfort occurs.

    • External use only. Keep out of reach of children.

    • Squeezing the gel with few liquid is normal phenomena which has no effect on the function of gel.
