Company Philosophy
Oriental Resources Development Limited (ORD) is the first company to enter the biomedical field in Far Eastern Group and founded in 2008. ORD cooperates with the biomedical team of Far Eastern Group’s R&D Center to develop health care products. ORD has a standard QMS/ISO13485 factory in Hukou, HsinChu for the production and sales of health care products including a series of Class I wound dressings, Class II anti-microbial dressings and bone graft substitutes for orthopedic/dental applications.
The initial concept of product development is to reduce the pain, the healing time and the economic burden for patients during treatment. Also, ORD targets to reduce the consumption of medical supplies and the duration of treatment to release the workload of medical staff. ORD not only sells the products in Taiwan, but also exports to Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and United States. ORD also carries the social responsibility to donate the wound dressings to patients and non-profit organizations such as Sunshine Foundation etc. and to enhance the overall wound care quality.
