SavDerm Wound Closure Strip Kit (Non-Sterile)

SavDerm Wound Closure Strip Kit is comprised of micro-groove reinforced nonwoven and hypoallergenic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). The hypoallergenic PSA can reduce skin allergies. The micro-groove reinforced nonwoven is skin compliant and gives strong tensile strength to make wound closure quickly and comfortably.? SavDerm Wound Closure Strip Kit provides a strong tensile strength and great adhesion that could prevent wound dehiscence. It can also reduce scarring from excessive secretion of collagen.

    Intended Use

    • Surgical incisions.
    • Following early suture/staple removal.
    • Closure of lacerations.

    Directions for use

    1. Clean and dry the wound。
    2. Place one strip across the central part of the wound。
    3. Apply strips tensionless。
    4. Section larger wounds to distribute tension. (If there are exudates, please space strips approximately 0.2~0.5 cm apart; if not, please overlap strips approximately 0.1 cm next to each other.)
    5. If necessary, apply SavDerm Transparent Dressing or SavDerm Hydrocolloids Thin Dressing as second dressing。


    Precaution

    • This product is in sterile packaging. If the packaging is damaged before unpacking, please do not use it.

    • This product is not suitable for massive bleeding wounds. Please stop the bleeding before using it, and do not replace it frequently to avoid excessive pulling on the wound.

    • When removing the tape, press the surrounding skin with one hand and remove it with one hand. Slowly pull both ends of the tape toward the central wound, and then gently remove it from the wound. Do not pull up from one end or quickly tear off the tape to avoid opening the wound.

    • If there is residual glue, please remove it carefully with baby oil.

    • If the skin has redness, swelling, heat, pain, allergies and other uncomfortable symptoms, please stop using it immediately and seek medical treatment immediately.

    • This product is not recommended to be used with ointment.

    • This product is aseptically packaged, so it is not suitable to cut it by yourself. If it is necessary to cut, it is recommended to use sterilization equipment, and once cut, sterility is not guaranteed.

    • During the pasting process, please avoid damp skin, which will affect the adhesion of the product.
