Liquid Bandage (Non-Sterile)

SavDerm Liquid Bandage forms a waterproof, breathable, and low-irritation protective film over skin wounds or burns. This barrier shields the wound surface to prevent secondary trauma, providing optimal external protection.
The formulation is non-irritating and alcohol-free, effectively minimizing patient pain and discomfort.

    Ingredients

    • Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Hexamethyldisiloxane, Vitamin E, Chamomile Essential Oil.

    Indications

    • Isolation and protection of superficial wounds (e.g., abrasions, cuts, incisions, contusions, and falls).
    • Burn and scald wounds.

    Directions for Use

    1. Thoroughly clean the wound and surrounding skin, and ensure the area is dry and free of blood before application.
    2. Hold the spray 10–15 cm away from the wound and apply a thin film using a sweeping motion..
    3. If any area is missed, reapply after the initial layer has dried (approx. 30 seconds).
    4. For use on skin folds, stretch the skin before spraying and maintain the position until the film is completely dry.
    5. If tapes or dressings are required, wait until the film is fully dry before application. Reapply the film after removing tapes or dressings.
    6. Due to its volatile nature, clean the nozzle and replace the cap securely after use to prevent clogging and evaporation.

    Precautions

    1. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with alcohol during use.
    2. Do not use it to prevent infection in injection sites or deep wounds.
    3. If redness, heat, swelling, pain, allergy, or discomfort occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. 
    4. Avoid contact with eyes and surrounding areas to prevent irritation. 
    5. Do not use it if the wound is still exuding fluids or blood.

      Storage
      1. This product is flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area away from flames or ignition sources. Keep out of reach of children.
      2. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store tilted or upside down.
      3. Do not transfer the contents to other containers to avoid contamination or degradation.
