Antiseptic Ag Foam Dressing (Sterile)

Antiseptic Ag Foam Dressing is a non-adherent dressing which is capable of absorbing large amounts of exudates. The dressing serves as a soft pad to fit the wound well and decreases the discomfort of accidental touch. It maintains a moist wound environment to enhance wound healing. The area in contact with the wound surface is treated with silver sputtering to effectively decrease the risk of infection.

    Product Features

    • High absorption capability without leakage to avoid wound infection.
    • Soft and cushioning foam provides wounds comfort and protection.
    • The area in contact with the wound surface is non-adhesive for easy removal.
    • The breathable foam provides an opportune environment to stimulate cell proliferation for shortening healing time.
    • Dressing with silver sputtering has the property of sustained release of silver to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould and then decrease the risk of infection.

    Directions for use

    1. Cleanse wounds and surrounding skin with normal saline and dry wounds before application.
    2. Open package and remove sterile dressing.
    3. Keep the contact layer (silver Ag side) down and position over the wound site. (The size of dressing should be 1~2 cm larger than wounds area.)
    4. Secure the dressing with surgical tape, bandage or SavDerm Transparent Film.

    Precaution

    • The dressing can be used upto 7 days depending on the exudation level.
    • The dressing can be cut into suitable size depending on the wound area. (The size of dressing should be 1~2 cm larger than wounds area.)
    • The dressing is not suitable for patients who are going to have MRI investigation.
    • The dressing cannot be used with oxidate such as NaOCL and H2O2.
    • Store in the cool and moisture free environment. Keep away from direct sunlight.
    • The dressing cannot be applied to wound infection treatment.
    • Discontinue use and consult the physician if irritation, rash or any discomfort occurs.

    Warning

    Adverse reactions to silver such as dermatitis, allergies and other symptoms are uncommon, but if they occur, please stop using this dressing immediately.
